Tidal Flooding Could Impact Southeastern PA Monday Night
Parts of the region could be vulnerable to flooding as a hazardous outlook was issued by the National Weather Service. Details:

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Parts of the greater Philadelphia area could be vulnerable to tidal flooding through late Monday, the National Weather Service said, as wind brings high tides and powerful waves along the Atlantic coast and up the Delaware Bay.
A coastal flood advisory is in place for a significant stretch of the Delaware River on both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey sides. Philadelphia, Delaware, and Bucks counties all fall within the impacted area.
Those counties, particularly in places near the river, could see minor to moderate flooding through 9 p.m. Monday, according to officials.

We will have another day with tidal flooding around the times of high tide. The threat will lessen as we go through the new week. #njwx #dewx #mdwx #pawx pic.twitter.com/nALGQlj5uS

Up to a foot of flooding on roads near tidal waterways is possible. Roads may be closed as a result.
No torrential rains or thunderstorms are expected, however. That's welcome news to communities still recovering from the all-time historic flooding and devastating tornadoes that swept through several weeks ago when the remnants of Hurricane Ida battered the region.
