Here are the top three stories today in Philadelphia:
- Sallieu Sesay just got done working as a tow truck driver and parked his car to go home to his five kids. Armed robbers wearing masks attempted to rob him and shot him several times on the 2100 block of S. 72nd Street in Southwest Philadelphia. Police say Sesay made his way to his family's home and banged on the door for help. The entire violent crime was caught on surveillance cameras in the area. (6abc Philadelphia)
- A 7-year old girl is lucky to be alive after she fell out a third story window of a home. Police rushed to the scene of 31st and Diamond Streets and found the girl with injuries to her arms and legs. She was rushed to the hospital and police continue to investigate. (NBC 10 Philadelphia)
- The Philadelphia Mayor's Race keeps getting more interesting. Just last week, candidate Derek Green dropped out of the race. He now has endorsed Cherelle Parker, his former city council colleague. (The Philadelphia Inquirer)
