Unresponsive Girl, 11, Dies After Philadelphia Sleepover: Cops​

Police said she was found unresponsive after a sleepover at about 10:17 a.m. Wednesday and was pronounced dead at 11:20 a.m.

PHILADELPHIA – An 11-year-old girl died after being found unresponsive at a sleepover in Northeast Philadelphia Wednesday, according to Philadelphia Police.

Police said the young girl was attending a sleepover at a home on the 9200 block of Angus Place.

The girl was found unresponsive by a neighbor at about 10:17 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27 and rushed to Aria-Jefferson Health Torresdale Hospital, according to police.

Authorities are investigating the young girl's death.
