PHILADELPHIA — A vehicle struck a Philadelphia police officer who was directing traffic near the South Philadelphia Sports Complex after Wednesday night's Phillies game, according to reports.

The collision happened around 9:20 p.m. at Broad Street and Packer Avenue, according to CBS News.

The officer was brought to Jefferson Hospital with a leg injury, says 6abc Action News.
