The truck driver has been identified as 53-year-old Nathaniel Moody, of Pennsauken, New Jersey.

He had been hauling 8,5000 gallons of gasoline for TK Transport, a Pennsauken-based company, according to Moody's cousin Isaac Moody.

"He wanted to raise his girl to know what a good Dad was, to know what a hardworking Dad was," his cousin said. "He didn't drink, he didn't smoke, he damn-sure didn't use any drugs."

Heat from the fire compromised the I-beams, causing a portion of Interstate 95 to collapse and critically compromising the structural integrity of the southbound lanes of the highway, forcing its demolition.

The fire burned for about an hour before crews had the blaze under control.

Interstate 95 remains closed in the area and will be closed indefinitely as authorities work to develop a reconstruction plan.

It's unclear when the highway is expected to be fixed.
