WATCH: Cat Attacked By Dogs In Philly Moves To Foster Home

Buddy the cat was in critical condition after two dogs were sicced on him recently. Two teenagers are charged in connection with the attack.

PHILADELPHIA — After being critically injured by two dogs set on him, Buddy the cat's recovery is progressing quite well.

Buddy was attacked the morning of March 22 in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood.

Video from the scene showed two people, later identified as a 17-year-old and a 12-year-old, sic two dogs on Buddy as he sat on a residential porch.

The teens surrendered themselves to the Pennsylvania SPCA on March 25 with their parents. Charges filed include felony animal fighting, felony aggravated animal cruelty and a conspiracy charge.

As for Buddy, he is doing well despite his injuries.

The PSPCA said Buddy's injuries left him in severe condition, but later said they were cautiously optimistic about his recovery.

Buddy's journey has been documented on the PSPCA's social media feeds.

Now, the tough cat is out of PSPCA care and living with a foster family.
