PHILADELPHIA — A young Phillies fan at Wednesday's game has restored our faith in humanity.
Here's how it went down: It was in the top of the fifth inning during the Phillies-Los Angeles Dodgers game (the Phillies lost 7-2, sadly) Wednesday evening when Dodgers infielder David Freese sent a foul ball into a section of mostly empty seats, likely due to a lengthy two-and-a-half hour rain delay.
A few young fans headed toward the errant ball, and one lucky youngster nabbed it. But instead of keeping it for himself, the boy who got the ball gave it away to another young fan. As the two walked back to their respective seats, the kid who was given the ball gave his peer a hug.

The Phillies later shared the clip of the two boys on Twitter. That clip has more than 209,000 views and the count keeps going up.
Now excuse us, something is in our eyes.
