Wawa Hoagie Day 2022: What You Need To Know
This year will feature hoagies made with eight tons of ingredients, along with a celebration dedicated to honoring everyday heroes.

PHILADELPHIA — Wednesday is Wawa's Annual Hoagie Day and this year's event will be marked with an 8-ton hoagie honoring the nation's everyday heroes.
The day beings at noon at Independence Mall, Fifth and Sixth streets.
Wawa is inviting Philadelphians and Hoagie lovers from across the region to take part in Hoagie Day.

This year will feature hoagies made with eight tons of ingredients along with a celebration dedicated to honoring our military, veterans, fire and police, our everyday heroes, as well as The Wawa Foundation’s ongoing partnership with the USO.
Hoagies for Heroes Doubleheader will be hosted by WMMR’s Preston and Casey. During the event, police officers from Philadelphia’s Police Districts and representatives of Philadelphia’s Fire Department face off in a hoagie building competition to benefit charities of their choice.

Members of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and the Pennsylvania Army National Guard will then go head-to-head in a charitable hoagie building competition to benefit the USO.
Wawa will make a contribution of $3,000 to the charities of all teams.
There will also be a check presentation to the USO for $750,000 from The Wawa Foundation in-store customer fundraising campaign
The event ends with a performance by Six Soldiers String Band of The United States Army Field Band.
USO Care to Connect Digital Kiosks will be displayed onsite for individuals to share digital messages of gratitude and encouragement to service members.
There will also be free admission to the National Constitution Center from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
