PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia Wawa is testing out a new way for customers to make purchases.

According to the Philadelphia Business Journal, Wawa at 3300 Market St. on Drexel's campus will be trying a digital purchase only format.

With this format, customers will make all purchases via the Wawa app or in-store touch screen menus.

After placing an order,employees behind the counter will give customers their items, according to NBC10.

The Drexel Wawa was closed for renovations and reopened July 26.

There is no word on if Wawa plans to expand the digital format to other locations.
