Weezer Bringing 'Blue Album' 30th Anniversary Tour To Philadelphia

Weezer will play their debut album in full at the Wells Fargo Center this fall, with The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr. joining in support.

PHILADELPHIA — Iconic rockers Weezer are embarking on a new tour this year that will honor the 30th anniversary of their landmark album "Weezer," more commonly known as the "Blue Album."

Weezer will be playing the self-titled debut album in full on Friday, Sept. 13 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia for the "Voyage to the Blue Planet Tour."

In addition to the entire album, which features hits such as "Buddy Holly and "Say It Ain’t So," the band will perform fan favorites, rarities, and more.

In Philadelphia, Weezer will be joined by The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr.

Fans can sign up for Weezer’s mailing list to get access to presale tickets at noon Wednesday.

More presales including a Citi presale will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning at 10 a.m. Friday. All tickets can be purchased on the band’s website online here.
