Woman Critical After Being Struck In Broad Street Hit-And-Run: Police

A 25-year-old woman suffered a fractured skull, fractured hips, and other severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle that drove off.

PHILADELPHIA — A 25-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle that drove off on Friday, and Philadelphia Police are asking for help finding the striking vehicle and driver.

The crash occurred at about 9:35 p.m. Friday at Broad Street and Susquehanna Avenue.

The woman was crossing Broad Street heading west on Susquehanna Avenue when a dark gray Nissan heading north on Broad struck her.

Police said the woman suffered a fractured skull, fractured hips, and other severe injuries and is in extremely critical condition.

The Nissan did not stop to help the woman or identify themselves to police.

Police said the Nissan has a sun/moon roof and a black left front wheel; the other three wheels are silver colored.

The vehicle may have front right damage.
