Woman Found Dead, Wrapped In Blanket And Towel, In Philadelphia: Cops

Ivelissa Lugo, 51, was reported missing Saturday morning, but was found dead, wrapped in a blanket and towel, that same day, police said.

PHILADELPHIA — A woman was found dead, wrapped in a blanket and towel, Saturday in Philadelphia, police said.

Officers Saturday were called to the 5900 block of Elsinore Street for a missing person report.

Reported missing was Ivelissa Lugo, 51.

She was last seen at about 8:15 a.m. Saturday on that same block.

Police said she has an estranged husband, who owns a 2006 Chevy Express van with Pennsylvania license plate #ZRR-4023, with a cross on the rear door.

Authorities later went back to a home in that area Saturday and found Lugo's body in a residential garage, police said.

She was pronounced dead at 4:12 p.m.

Her cause of death has not been determined.

Police have not made any arrests or found any weapons.
