Woman Kicked Kid At Philly Park, Police Trying To ID Her [VIDEO]

Police said the woman seen here was caught on video kicking a young child at a Philadelphia Park recently.

PHILADELPHIA – A woman was caught on video kicking a young child at a Philadelphia Park and police are asking for the public's assistance identifying her and a man in the video.

Police released video of the incident, which is believed to have occurred on Tuesday, July 9 in the area of Frankford and Cottman avenues.

In the video, two children can be seen fighting with one another with an adult man trying to keep them apart.

The woman then is seen kicking one of the children at least twice.

Police said Friday that based on the video, it would be difficult to charge the woman.

At this point, police have little information on the man and woman and don't know their relationship to the children, saying no one has come forward to provide details on the incident.

Police said they have no idea what led up to the video and what followed the video and are concerned about potential abuse and neglect in these children's homes.

Authorities have been working to identify the woman and her family but are asking the public to provide any relevant information on her or the incident.
