Young Females Take on the Schuylkill in Hopes of Making the 2028 Olympics

John Cohn, Head Coach and Co-Founder of the Newport Rowing Club and Head Coach for the women’s local USRowing Under 19 Olympic Development Program, was a guest recently on WWDB 860 “Interesting People” radio show.

He was interviewed by Kierstyn Satkowski, who is also associate producer of the show.

He reported on the 4 weeks he spent training with the girls of the USRowing Under 19 Olympic Development Program that took place on the Schuylkill River for the Mid-Atlantic region. He also told us how he became involved with the program, along with his love for the sport and the local rowing club he coaches at.
