11 Ducklings Rescued From Sewer In Phoenixville
As their mother anxiously watched, two of Phoenixville's finest were able to rescue all of the trapped ducklings.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A pack of 11 ducklings were rescued thanks to the quick work of emergency officials in Phoenixville on Tuesday.
The errant young fowl found themselves stuck in a sewage drain at around 2 p.m. near the foundry at 2 North Main Street.
The mother duck was circling around the sewer attempting to reach her babies when officials arrived.

Phoenixville Fire Department Fire Chief Eamon Brazunas and Phoenixville Police Officer Michael Repasky responded to the scene.
They were able to rescue all 11 ducklings, and brought them in a red bucket to the banks of French Creek. There they were safely released into the care of their eager mother.

Officials said the ducklings and their mother, once reunited, disappeared from view in the brush along the creekside trail.
