$1K Reward After Woman Attacked At Providence Town Center

A Phoenixville woman had her children in the car when a man, fuming after being cut off, hit her in the face at the Providence Town Center.

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA -- A mother who had her young sons in the car with her was punched in the face by a man following a road rage incident at Providence Town Center last week. Days later, the suspect remains on the loose.

The incident occurred on Dec. 4 at around 4:35 p.m. on Town Center Drive near the Market Street intersection, police said.

Lisa O'Neill, of Phoenixville, was driving west on Arcola Road when she said she accidentally cut off a four-door Chevrolet sedan, according to authorities. The car may have had tinted windows.

The car she cut off followed her into the Town Center and toward Wegmans, near Market Street.

That's when the suspect, a heavy-set white man with glasses, got out of his car, came up to O'Neill's car, and began yelling and cursing at her through the driver's side window, according to police.

The window was partially open and O'Neill apologized to the man, and asked him to leave her and her children alone, police said.

That's when the man hauled back and punched her in the face through the window, before fleeing the scene.

According to NBC Philadelphia, O'Neill's husband is now offering a $1,000 reward for the arrest of the suspect.
