422 Lane To Shut Down Overnight Near Valley Forge Next Week

Construction will lead to a lane closure on 422 in the Valley Forge area next week.

VALLEY FORGE, PA — Construction will lead to a lane closure on 422 in the Valley Forge area next week.

The left eastbound lane will be closed between Trooper Road and Valley Forge Road (Route 23) from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closure will be in effect from Monday, March 26 through Friday, March 30.

The closure will allow construction activities to commence to help improve bridges over the Schuylkill River and railroads on 422.

Motorists should expect delays.

The massive $97.4 million project began in Feb. 2016 and is slated to finish in May 2020.
