$6k Raised For Good Samaritan Shelter By Phoenixville Pub

One local restaurant and bar is doing its best to be a good neighbor.

Molly Maguire’s Irish Pub raised over $6k for a local charity at their annual golf outing, and will present the funds on Wednesday at 2 p.m.

The beneficiary is the Good Samaritan Shelter. Per their website:

The Good Samaritan Shelter is a Christian ministry that provides safe, comfortable housing and supportive services to men, women, and women with children experiencing homelessness in the greater Phoenixville and Ephrata areas. GSS collaborates with local health and social service agencies to help our guests regain stability in their lives and address the issues surrounding their homelessness.

Their Phoenixville location can sleep 8 in their emergency shelter, and 17 in a transitional housing program.

Frank Giardina, the chair of the Golf Outing, will present the check will occur in front of Molly McGuire’s located on 197 Bridge Street.
