ADA Curb Ramps To Be Installed At 5 Phoenixville Intersections

ADA curb ramps will make a huge difference for individuals with disabilities in Phoenixville.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — ADA-compliant curb ramps will be installed in Phoenixville beginning early next year, State Sen. Andy Dinniman's office announced Tuesday.

Crews from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will install the ramps at five key intersections around the area.

“These are simple improvements that can make a tremendous difference in the daily lives of our residents and neighbors who are living with disabilities,” Dinniman, who serves on the Senate Transportation Committee, said in a statement announcing the ramps. “A vital part of upgrading our transportation infrastructure is ensuring that it is readily accessible to all and that includes our sidewalks, public transit systems, and train stations.”
