After Sold Out Opener, Cirque Du Soleil Extends Montco Tour Dates

Cirque du Soleil will be sticking around Montgomery County a little longer than previously thought.

OAKS, PA — Cirque du Soleil will be sticking around Montgomery County a little longer than previously thought.

The international circus tour, which premiered on Thursday night in Oaks, will now stick around until Aug. 19. That's a full two weeks longer than they were planning on being in town, as they show was originally scheduled to end Aug. 5.

Tickets for the show went on sale for "Cirque Club" this winter and start at $49 a pop (become a member here). Tickets for the general public went on sale March 9 and can be purchased here.

Volta, the latest touring show of Cirque du Soleil, is themed around extreme sports, according to organizers. Acts include parkour, rope skipping, roller skating, contemporary dance, use of bungees, batons, acrobatic ladders, unicycles, and much more.
