PHOENIXVILLE, PA — An investigation is underway after two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in Phoenixville on Friday, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at around 11:57 a.m. on April 24 near the intersection of Route 23 and Bridge Street.
Both individuals were taken to Paoli Hospital.
One suffered serious injuries, while one suffered minor injuries. They are receiving treatment, though further details on their conditions were not immediately known Monday.
The intersection was shut down for hours for Phoenixville Police to complete a crash investigation, along with the Montco Serious Crash Assistance Team.
The roadways were reopened by about 3:45 p.m.
The Phoenixville Fire Department was assisted by Liberty Fire Co., Tower Direct, and West End Fire Co. on the scene.
