SCHUYLKILL TOWNSHIP, PA — As construction nears completion on the new Wawa on Route 23, the store has announced that they are now hiring for a variety of open positions.
While an exact opening date has not yet been confirmed, Wawa officials said the store would be open at some point in August.
It will mark the end of years of anticipation over the conclusion of the project, which was debated and discussed for years before groundbreaking ever took place.
The new 10 pump gas station and 24-hour, 6,000 foot Wawa convenience store will replace the former Exxon at 799 Valley Forge Road, near the intersection with N. Whitehorse Road.
