Chester County dispatch contacted Norfolk Southern and had them temporarily stop train traffic in the area while the rescue was underway.

The individual was safely returned to their vehicle. They were not injured.

The fire department also urged the public to exercise caution in finding viewing areas for the upcoming pass through the Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 steam locomotive. Many access points to the tracks are dangerous, and steam from the train can burn anyone who gets too close. Watchers should remain at least 25 feet back from the tracks at all times.
