Phoenixville Alley Fire Under Investigation

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A fire late last week is under investigation in Phoenixville after multiple trash cans were found on fire.

The incident occurred at 7:21 p.m. on Taylor Alley, near the Gay Street Memorial Bridge.

Crews arrived to find the trash toters already destroyed and flames lingering in a parking area behind Mill Street.

Crews used a pressurized water extinguisher to put out the blaze. They were clear of the scene in about 20 minutes.

The cause is not known.

No injuries were reported.
