22 Vehicles Ransacked Over The Weekend In Phoenixville

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Police are urging residents to take precautions after 22 vehicles were ransacked over the weekend in Phoenixville.

Every single one of the vehicles was unlocked, authorities noted.

The thefts took place from late Friday night into Saturday morning.

The French Creek Townhome Community, Vanderslice Street, and Needle Street were all impacted by the criminals.

Police asked local residents in those areas to check security cameras to see if they noted anything suspicious.

Specifically, authorities said they are looking for videos of teens "lurking around" and pulling on door handles.

Residenta are also reminded to lock the doors of their vehicles.
