The inaugural concert will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Colonial Theatre.

"Phoenix Chamber grew out of my hope to bring world-class chamber musicians to Phoenixville in a setting that feels intimate, welcoming, and connected to the community," said Nhi Huynh, the founder and artistic director of the chamber.

A celebrated performer herself, Huynh has a PhD in musical arts and teaches piano at Lafayette College and Swarthmore College.

The first concert in Phoenixville next week features Huynh on piano, violinist Jennifer Frautschi, and cellist Sarah Ghandour.

They will perform music from Beethoven and Brahms, as well as the themes from a pair of iconically scored films: "Schindler's List" and "Jurassic Park."

Future concerts at the Colonial are set for Nov. 17, March 16, and May 18.
