PHOENIXVILLE, PA — When it comes to taking on the fictional settings of cult films and TV shows, Phoenixville is best known for how dramatically it flees from The Blob.
But for at least a few days this coming weekend, the borough will take on a decidedly more millennial identity.
Phoenixville will be transformed into Star Hollow, the town at the center of the "Gilmore Girls" universe, from Friday Sept. 25 through Sunday, Sept. 27.
The special "pop up" is organized by local business owners and show superfans Kenzie Hamblin and Mallory McDaniel.
Numerous local businesses will transform into iconic establishments from the show. There will also be a Luke and Lorelai look-a-like contest, a themed trivia event, and more.
