Flames were coming from outside a window on the third floor of the structure when firefighters first arrived on the scene.

One individual could also be seen inside the building on the floor below the fire.

Dry chemical fire extinguishers were used on the blaze before the Phoenixville Fire Department arrived.

Firefighters used a pressurized water extinguisher and a booster line, a small hose attached to the side of the fire engine, to combat the flames and bring it under control.

The employee inside the building during the fire was not aware of the blaze, authorities said.

Crews were on the scene for about two and a half hours.

No injuries were reported.

The Chester County Fire Marshal's Office is leading the investigation.
