Another New Brewery Coming To Phoenixville, Report Says

The Reading-based Chatty Monks brewpub plans to open a brewery and restaurant in Phoenixville in early 2016, according to industry reports.

Co-founder Rob Metzger told the Beer Yard that Chatty Monks was going to take over a 13,000 square foot space on Main Street next to Molly Maguire’s downtown.

Demand for Chatty Monks has reportedly outgrown what the brewery is able to produce at their Reading location.

Chatty Monks would join Stable 12 Brewing as the most recent additions to the Phoenixville microbrewing scene, along with longer tenants Sly Fox and Iron HIll.
