Area Clergy Prepares for Community Lenten Worship

Hear scripture, join in song, prayer, and reflection on 5 Wednesdays during Lent 2018.

Again this year the Phoenixville Area Clergy Association (PACA) has planned Wednesday evening Lenten services. The overall theme is "Who does Jesus say that he is?" Starting on February 21st, five area churches will take turns hosting worship with a different preacher and topic every week. Attendees can participate in song, prayer and reflection. Hopefully, experiencing one, a few, or all of the evenings will help make Lent extra meaningful. All of the services begin at 7:30 PM and are scheduled as follows:

WEEK ONE
TOPIC: Jesus - Light of the World
DATE: February 21
LOCATION: St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 604 South Main Street, Phoenixville
PREACHER: Rev. Eric Woodworth of Charlestown United Methodist

WEEK TWO
TOPIC: Jesus - Bread of Life
DATE: February 28
LOCATION: First United Methodist Church, 865 South Main Street, Phoenixville
PREACHER: Rev. Cynthia Krommes of St. John’s Lutheran
