'Bacon Me Crazy', New Bacon-Themed Eatery, Opens In Phoenixville

This hog-oriented eatery has some Chester County residents squealing in delight.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Bacon cheesesteak. Bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks. Bacon blue fries. Flights of bacon prepared in various ways. For bacon-lovers, a new haven has now opened on the streets of Phoenixville.

Bacon Me Crazy, a brand new establishment in the borough that is not, in fact, a brewery, opened its doors officially on Wednesday morning.

The new eatery, located at 119 Main Street, is set up in the former home of the Phoenixville Moose Lodge. The establishment is open for breakfast and lunch, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and features a wide variety of bacon-oriented dishes.

The establishment features a cafe, lounge (open until 6 p.m.), and a market for take-out (also open until 6 p.m.). It's the creation of Wes Reeser, who operated the recently closed Bacon Press in Frazer.

Lunch highlights include a bacon cheesesteak, bacon burger, jalapeno and bacon mac and cheese, and bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks. For a glance at the menu, see here.
