Big Philly Beer Fest Will Include Phoenixville Brewery
You can taste 350 craft beers from 125 breweries at the third Big Philly Beer Fest, which includes Phoenixville's Sly Fox Brewery.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- If you like beer, then you need to head to the Pennsylvania Convention Center Friday Jan. 13 and Saturday Jan. 14 to sample tons of craft beers from more than 125 breweries during the Big Philly Beer Fest.
Tickets for the festival range from $55 to $75. Advance tickets are discounted $10, so if you buy early you can save some money that you can spend on more beer. Tickets are also available for designated drivers for $20 and $35 in advance only.
The festival begins each day at 7 p.m. for advance ticket holders and 8 p.m. for regular ticket holders.

The third annual Big Philly Beer Fest will offer IPAs, ales, sours, porters, stouts, pilsners, and so many more beer styles from your favorite breweries and others you have never heard of. Some beers are even visiting from across the pond, with beers from the UK, Ireland, Sweden, and Iceland on hand at the event.
Philly's own Dock Street and Yards breweries will be offering some of their signature brews, as well.

Manayunk Brewing Company has four beers it will be showing, including its French Toast Crunch porter and Dankster's Paradise IPA.
Other breweries in the Philly area include:
- Sly Fox in Phoeninxville,
- Victory in Downingtown,
- 2SP in Aston,
- Evil Genius in West Grove,
- Kurant Cider in Perksaie,
- Levante Brewing Company in West Chester,
- Naked Brewing in Huntington Valley,
- Neshaminy Creek in Croydon.
Nicks Roast Beef, The Cow and the Curd, and Waffle Wedges will all be dishing up food at the event, too.
Not only will the event put unique beers in your bellies, it will raise money for Animal Rescue Partners, a 501-c-3 organization dedicated to supporting numerous animal rescues, pet adoption groups, and community spay/neuter programs in the Philadelphia area and beyond.
Volunteers are still needed for the event, too. Over 40 volunteer positions are still open, so head over to the volunteer sign up webpage to help take tickets, pour beer, check IDs, or other duties.Volunteers get a T-shirt, a drinking cup, pizza, and beer. Volunteers are also reimbursed for parking after the event is over.
