PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A lane of Bridge Street will be shut down in Phoenixville and Mont Clare as construction gets underway to build a multi-use path that connects to the Schuylkill River Trail.

The closure will begin on Monday, Oct. 7. PennDOT officials initially said the work would be completed by December, but the latest estimate has work being done by April 2020.

It's anticipated that a lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on each weekday, restricting the bridge to a single, ten-foot wide lane.
