Phoenixville Public Library will host another “Medicare 101” seminar at the Library on Monday, July 6, 6:30 PM, due to a registration glitch with the most recent presentation. Gary Davis, a Counselor with PA-MEDI, will be the presenter. If you will be joining the ranks of Medicare soon, are already in the Medicare system and have questions, are helping a friend or relative obtain Medicare coverage, or just want to understand what Medicare is all about, this session is for you. Learn about Medicare A, B & C; the drug benefit (Part D); the types of health care insurance available in Chester County; benefits available to low-income beneficiaries; and things to consider when selecting your medical coverage. PA Medicare Education and Decision Insight (PA MEDI) is Pennsylvania’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) operating under the Chester County Department of Aging Services. This event is free and open to the public. The program will also be livestreamed on Zoom for those unable to attend in person.
