
Phoenixville Public Library will host a free “Stop the Bleeding” Hands-on Training session from the American Red Cross on Monday, August 10 at 6:30 PM. Certified American Red Cross Instructor Glenn Jones will lead the class.Severe bleeding can become life-threatening in minutes. Join us for this free hands-on training from the American Red Cross and learn how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, apply direct pressure, pack wounds, and properly use a tourniquet until emergency responders arrive. This practical course is designed for community members (ages 12+) with no medical experience and provides simple skills that could help save a life during an emergency.
