Phoenixville Area High School Marching Phantoms to Host
2026 "Phestival of Bands" on September 19

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — SEPTEMBER 19, 2026 — The Phoenixville Marching Phantoms will host "Phestival of Bands", a 2026 Cavalcade of Bands competition and exhibition featuring marching bands from across the region. The Marching Phantom's will be performing their 2026 season production, “One Thousand Cranes.”

The event will bring together 14 high school marching bands, along with Millersville University Marauder Marching Band for an evening of music, marching and performance at Phoenixville Area High School offering local families and music fans the opportunity to experience a full day of competitive marching band performances.

About the Marching Phantom's 2026 show
This year’s Phoenixville production, One Thousand Cranes, draws inspiration from the Japanese tradition and legend of folding 1,000 origami cranes, a symbol of hope, peace, and perseverance. The show will be presented alongside performances by visiting bands throughout the evening.

·      Donegal HS – Mount Joy, PA

·      Exeter Township HS – Reading, PA

·      Methacton HS – Norristown, PA

·      Millersville University – Millersville, PA

·      Phoenixville Area HS – Phoenixville, PA (Host)

·      Pottsgrove HS – Pottstown, PA

·      Pottstown HS – Pottstown, PA

·      Sun Valley HS – Aston, PA

·      Twin Valley HS – Elverson, PA

·      Upper Merion Area HS – King of Prussia, PA

·      Wilson HS – West Lawn, PA

·      York Suburban HS – York, PA

In addition to the performances, attendees can enjoy concessions, merchandise, raffles, vendors, crane origami crafting. Proceeds from the Phestival of Bands help support the Phoenixville Marching Phantoms and provide funding for the students’ marching arts program.

The Phoenixville Marching Phantoms are part of the Phoenixville Area School District and provide students with opportunities to develop musicianship, performance skills, discipline, teamwork and leadership through the marching arts.

Community members, families, and marching band fans are invited to attend and support the students as they take the field for the 2026 season.
