Chesco Encourages Residents to Shop Local for Their Thanksgiving Turkeys
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to give thanks for our local farmers, the county Agricultural Development Council says.

This Thanksgiving, Chester County is encouraging residents to the think local when it comes to their turkeys.
“Making the choice to support our local farmers is a great way to show how thankful we are for all the hard work they do all year long,” the County Agricultural Development Council said in a statement. “The other benefit is that you get a fresh bird, not one that’s been sitting in a freezer for months.”
The Council says these Chester County farms are still taking Thanksgiving turkey orders:
