Chesco Man Hid Crack Cocaine In His Anus After Traffic Stop: Cops

After making an illegal turn, the motorcycle was pulled over by police. They were in for a surprise.

COATESVILLE, PA — A Chester County man was caught hiding crack cocaine in his anus after a routine traffic stop last week.

The incident occurred on Nov. 30 at around 9:51 p.m. on East Lincoln Highway in Coatesville, according to police.

Steven Reeves, 26, of Coatesville, was riding his motorcycle when authorities noticed he did not use a proper turn signal.

The Delco Times first reported that police discovered he had a suspended license and active warrants, and he was arrested.

When he arrived at the station, it was discovered that Reeves had hidden crack cocaine in his anus. He then reportedly tried to stamp on the evidence to get rid of it.

Reeves was arraigned and taken to Chester County Prison, where he was released on Dec. 1 after $10,000 bail was posted, according to court documents.

Reeves faces charges of possession with intent to deliver, fabricating evidence, driving without a license, and related counts.

A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 13 at 8:30 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Gregory Hines.
