Chester County Has One Of America's Best Southern Restaurants

WEST CHESTER, PA — One of the best spots for southern cuisine in the United States is right here in Chester County, according to a new analysis.

High Street Caffe and Vudu Lounge was included on OpenTable's recent list of the 50 Best Southern Restaurants in America for 2018.

The ranking analyzed more than 12 million reviews from 27,000 restaurants around the country. Highly ranked restaurants had a high number of reviews and high number of highly rated scores.

High Street earned an average of four and a half stars out of five from 900 reviewers. One hundred percent of reviewers said they "would recommend."

"Very rare to find an authentic Cajun restaurant in the Philly suburbs," one reviewer wrote. "The food was terrific, service was top notch, they even had a few Louisiana beers in bottle like Abita and Blackened voodoo. The Cajun food was seasoned - not buried in 'hot'. Yes it's got a kick but you can actually taste the food - they get it right."

High Street Caffe is located on 322 South High Street in West Chester.
