Chester County Hospital Not Allowed To Sell Expensive Wine Taken From Malvern Couple: Report

The hospital wanted to sell "hundreds of bottles" of expensive wine that were taken from a Malvern couple.

Chester County Hospital is not allowed to sell or auction the wine they confiscated from a Malvern couple, a Chester County Common Pleas judge ruled Tuesday, according to the Daily Local News.

The hospital took “hundreds of bottles” of the expensive wine from the Malvern pair while they were hospitalized in 2014, the report states, presumably because they had it on hospital grounds against rules.

Judge Edward Griffith ruled that the hospital could only take the wine for medicinal purposes, according to the report.
