Chester County Man Illegally Reenters Country After Deportation: Officials

A Chester County man who was deported in 2016 illegally reentered the country in May, the U.S. Attorney alleges.

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — A Chester County man who was deported in 2016 illegally reentered the country in May, the U.S. Attorney alleges.

Armand Martinez Nunez, of Downingtown, is a Mexico native who was deported from the United States on June 9, 2016, according to authorities.

Martinez-Nunez returned to the United States again on May 5 before being arrested.

He has been charged with illegal reentry after deportation, which carries a maximum possible sentence of 20 years in prison, the U.S. Attorney said.

Assistant United States Attorney Katayoun M. Copeland will lead the prosecution's case.
