Chester County Pride Fest Coming Up In June

The event aims to "celebrate diversity and equality" for the LGBT community in Chester County.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The third annual Chester County Pride Fest and Pride Gala will be held on June 2-3 at Reeves Park in Phoenixville.

The event aims to "celebrate diversity and equality" for the LGBT community in Chester County, organizers said.

Food trucks, numerous vendors, live music and entertainment, children's games, and other activities will highlight the festival.

"I have felt more than comfortable making new friends here, and continue to leave each event with a huge smile on my face. There is always a genuine crowd of all ages, great food and drinks, music and a ton of dancing.I strongly encourage anyone and everyone in the community to support the cause and become a part of this awesome group," said Alyssa Dieter, who attended the event in the past.

In addition, a Pride Gala to support the cause and the LGBT Equality Alliance will be held at The Desmond in Malvern on Sunday, June 3. For tickets - $80 - see here. The event will include dinner, dancing, auction, and raffles, all in support of LGBT organizations.
