Chester County Student Wins Safe Driving Competition In Phoenixville
AAA Mid-Atlantic sponsored the event, which put students through a series of written, perceptual, and driving tests.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Students from nine Philadelphia-area high schools participated in the 3rd Annual Southeastern Pennsylvania Teen Safe Driving Competition, held at Technical College – Pickering Campus in Phoenixville.
The competition, organized by Bucks County TMA, Chester County Highway Safety Project, Delaware County TMA and Street Smarts – Philadelphia Highway Safety Project, put the students through a series of written and perceptual tests as well as a hands-on driving test.
AAA Mid-Atlantic was a sponsor of the event and provided memberships and car emergency kits to the winners.

From left to right: Austin Wilson from Chichester High School, was this year’s overall winner of a $2,000 scholarship. Jared Stanaitis from Sun Valley High School finished second with a $1,000 scholarship. Eric Otto from Technical College High School – Pennock’s Bridge, finished third with a $500 scholarship.
