Community Supports Family Left Homeless By Upper Providence Fire

Thousands of dollars have been raised for the Giampietro family after a destructive blaze left them without a home for the holidays.

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — Thousands of dollars have been raised for the Giampetro family after a destructive blaze left them without a home for the holidays.

A GoFundMe campaign has raised $6,200 as of Tuesday night. That came from 83 donors in a matter of just three days.

Tony Giampietro, a single father, and his two teenage children, a 16-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy, were able to safely escape the blaze. They were also able to rescue their animals.

Their home and the rest of their possessions, however, were lost, the fundraiser states.
