Congress: Act on climate

1988  Climate scientist James Hansen told the Senate the planet is warming and pollution is to blame. The EPA chiefs' testimony apparently did little to bridge the divide. Republicans on the Senate environmental panel said the rule would kill jobs for no environmental benefit
. a lie the truth is they didn't want their rich mine owners profits jepodised

Mean while the weather is becoming more extream. Lives and property destroyed from mega storms. Lung cancer and other health problems cause by these fossil fuels. Inherent in all of these problems was  powerful etconomic interests resisting controls.

It is unethical and immoral that these power plants run by fossil fuels are allowed to continue. The owners make a profit while the rest of us pay the price with disease , land,air and water pollution and  ex stream weather. There is alternative energy. Clean renewable energy

Unless you speak up and demand a change this nonsense will continue and our beautiful home, the earth will be uninhabitable and folks
