Congressman To Honor Phoenixville Students Nominated To Military Service Academies
Well done, students.
WEST CHESTER, PA -- Congressman Ryan Costello (PA-06) will honor the 32 high school seniors from Pennsylvania’s Sixth Congressional District who have earned nominations to one of the nation's Service Academies during an event Saturday.
The event will honor the hard work of all the students who have committed themselves to serving our nation in the Army, Navy, Air Force and Merchant Marines, Costello's office said.
In an effort to assist in the nomination process, Costello said he appointed community members with a military background to a nonpartisan Academy Advisory Board.

The Academy Advisory Board selected the nominees based on academic achievements, leadership skills, extracurricular activities, physical fitness, and character.
The event will take place at noon Saturday at the Chester County Historic Courthouse (Second Floor - Courtroom #1).
