Democratic, Green Party Candidates To Face Off In Phoenixville Mayoral Town Hall
A Mayoral Town Hall debate will feature Democratic and Green Party candidates to become the next leader of Phoenixville.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- A Mayoral Town Hall debate will feature Democratic and Green Party candidates to become the next leader of Phoenixville.
The event, organized by Phoenixville Progressives, will take place on Wednesday, April 12, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Phoenixville Senior Center.
Green Party nominee Nate Craig will face off against Democratic nominee Peter Urscheler. It's not yet clear if a second Democratic nominee, Letitia Jones, will participate.

The Republican nominee, Dave Gautreau, will not participate in this debate, but organizers expressed interest in holding a cross-party debate in the future.
Organizers said that each candidate will present their "vision for Phoenixville" during the debate.

The 2017 primary election will take place on May 16. The general election is November 7. Candidates are running for the position held by current mayor, Democrat Michael Speck, who was elected to a four year term in 2013.
The Senior Center is located on 153 Church Street.
