Even the SweatHogs have Smart Phones

As I think back to when I bought my 1st home and the how technology has changed the way we do everything. I am glad for the tools I can use in business today.

I remember when we 1st started out buying a home, we went to the real estate office and the realtor had several books of homes with very tiny pictures and brief descriptions for us to browse.

I’ve heard stories of pre-technolgy enterprising and cutting edge realtors   investing in fax machines so they could bring their businesses to the next level to be faster and more efficient, only to find there wasn’t anyone to fax to.

Even when I started out as a realtor, I fumbled through some "new to me" technology. Cut and paste to me was really cutting and pasting or taping and then photocopying. Everything was a project!

Now everything is fast and high tech. Not only do we wince at the mere thought of dial up, but a few minutes loading or downloading is painful. The idea of paperless sounds pretty good!

I really love the tools we get to use. A new favorite I found over the last few days is an app for a mobile business card, called Inigo- Introduce Yourself. It’s a great tool to exchange information phone to phone (do the bump) or bluetooth or through other sharing we use to connect.

Here is my card! Feel free to book mark and make a convenient short cut on your phone screen to access my Advanced Home Search and easily connect with me by using the quick links found on my live card link -                 My Real Estate Connection

I have to admit, I still like paper, documents, folders and business cards. I print thing’s I shouldn’t to read them the old school way. I’m still not ready to give up passing out my card and keeping valuable business cards handy of contacts that I regularly recommend and kept in a trusty business card book or the top drawer of my desk.

But technology is getting closer to the dream of paperless and that sounds pretty good!
