Dogwood Festival Parade Route In Phoenixville: Traffic, Closures, Details
What to know ahead of the big parade day Saturday in Phoenixville.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Dogwood Festival, one of the Phoenixville area's premier events, will hold its annual parade on Saturday, May 16.
It begins at 1 p.m. at the Phoenixville Recreation Center. It will run down Franklin Avenue to Gay Street, turn on to Bridge Street, turn right on to Main Street, and finish just past other Dogwood festivities near Reeves Park.

Staging for the event will lead to several road closures on Saturday beyond just the parade route itself. Fillmore Street, Grant Street, St. Mary's Street, Rhoades Street, and Vanderslice Street will all be shut down at 11:15 a.m., police said.
Emmett Street and High Street will close at 12:30 p.m.

Persimmon Lane. highlighted in blue below, will be open to local traffic during the parade set up.
In order to cross Main Street during the parade set up, officials say all residents should use Nutt Road to bypass the parade.

The parade will also feature a special "sensory zone," allowing individuals with autism, epilepsy, and PTSD to enjoy the festivities. The quieter and calmer stretch of the parade will be from the corner of Bridge and Main streets to the intersection of Main and Church streets.
