Donald Trump Jr. Jokes About 'Gas Chamber' On PA Radio Station [AUDIO]

Donald Trump Jr., talking to a PA radio station, made what some say was an inappropriate Holocaust reference in criticizing Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump Jr. has drawn criticism for making what some say is an inappropriate joke about the Holocaust Wednesday as he attacked the news media for boosting Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's eldest son appeared on WPHT Talk Radio 1210 in Pennsylvania and made the following remark (hear the audio below):

“The media has been her number one surrogate in this,” he said in an interview with the host, Chris Stigall. “Without the media, this wouldn’t even be a contest, but the media has built her up. They’ve let her slide on every in-discrepancy, on every lie, on every DNC game trying to get Bernie Sanders out of this thing. If Republicans were doing that, they’d be warming up the gas chamber right now.”

Trump later said in a NBC interview that he was referring to capital punishment, not the Holocaust.

Nevertheless, the Clinton campaign and a number of people on social media jumped on his comments.

Trump spokesman Jason Miller told Politico that the comments were misconstrued. "The liberal dishonest media is so quick to attack one of the Trumps that they never let the truth get in the way of a good smear," Miller said in a statement to the publication.
